Honorary Life Members

From time to time the CSD honours volunteers who have made a contribution to the society over a number of years. Past Presidents of the CSD are also Honorary Life Members. We appreciate the many other people who make the organization successful, yet who go unrecognized. Thank you everyone.

Photo of Susan CollinsSusan started on the board as Recording Secretary in 1999, then became the Convention Convener for two years. She was Vice President, and also Director Marketing, Webmaster and Link Editor. She teaches and practices dowsing and has spoken at many dowsing conferences including: the ASD West Coast Conference in 2006; the ASD annual Vermont convention in 2005; the CSQ annual convention in 2005 and CanAm 1 2004 (co-sponsored by ASD and CSQ). She works with traditional dowsing tools as well as the power of heart and thought to detect and transform non-beneficial earth, environmental and human energy patterns. Susan was the CSD Dowser of the Year in 2006.

Art has been a great help to the society over the years mailing out the journals and newsletters and working with Ottawa Dowsers the CSD Associate Group.

 

Doug Gray, 2004

Honorary Life Member Doug GrayDoug is a Spiritual Councilor, dowser, speaker and storyteller. An ordained, non-denominational minister, he focuses on Native Spiritualism and Sacred Medicine.

 

Diane Marcotte, 2004

Honorary Life Member Diane MarcotteDiane served on the board from and served as Membership Secretary, Director of Marketing, Webmaster and was the first Dowsers's Link editor.

 

Joan De New Nathanson, 2003

Photo of Joan De NewJoan De New Nathanson first joined the CSD Board in 1998. She contributed substantially to the first CSD Constitution and By-Laws on which the current 2001 incorporation is based and has provided input on policy development. In 2005, she coordinated the Annual Convention. In 1998, she founded HAHN (Hamilton and Area Healing Network), CSD’s first Associate Member group, which holds monthly educational meetings. A dowser since 1994, Joan is a speaker, workshop leader, tutor, and intuitive counselor. She is currently an ordained, licensed healing minister with the Church of Healing Energy, with dowsing as her healing modality. Her special interests are dowsing for insight on soul’s purpose and distance healing, and she is exploring dowsing for organizational wellness.

Sandra Yemm, 2002

Sandra received her Honourary Life Membership in June 2002 and has been a member of CSD since 1996. She served as Vice President for the 2000-01 term and as Director for the years 1999 to 2002. Sandra performed the dual responsibilities of CSD Public Relations Convenor and Coordinator of Convention Activities from June 1998 to June 2001. She continued to fulfill the position of Convention Coordinator for the 2002 Convention. Sandra was a co-founder and facilitator of Toronto's only School of Dowsing and Geobiology established in February 1997. Sandra continues to work as a consultant and educator in the field of energy medicine and most specifically, the Eastern philosophy of Feng Shui.

 

Margaret Ball, 2002

Margaret taught in the CSD dowsing schools for many years and has served on the nominating committee. She teaches dowsing on a regular basis in the Toronto area and has been a featured speaker at several local dowsing groups.

 

Dorothy Donovan

Honorary Life Member Dorothy DonovanDorothy was the recording secretary for the CSD for many years and held a variety of positions on the board.
