Larry Huszczo
As an independent consultant, Larry Huszczo practices and teaches effective energy management using ancient and modern techniques. Dowsing is a cornerstone in Larry’s medicine bag which also includes Native American techniques, mental programming and mind development, hands on techniques, shamanism and self empowerment.
On his own journey from a wheelchair to walking, Larry has learned barriers are simply there to be removed. Now he spends his time teaching and helping people find their own power within. Teaching and consulting have taken him across North America, presenting seminars for hands on techniques, dowsing and general self-empowerment. Consulting work for individuals and corporations has included clearing negative energies within the home and workplace, changing negative belief systems and clearing blockages that prevent individuals, groups and families from reaching their full potential. For those who wish, Larry is happy to provide his wide variety of techniques and has success in treating various forms of illnesses and disease.
Larry’s approach of integrating energy work and positive attitude into every aspect of daily life defines a philosophy and provides a practical tool that everyone can use to improve their own lives. Whether the work is done with a pendulum, hands on or a heart felt prayer, change happens every time.
For those familiar with Raymon Grace, he calls Larry his “best student”. Larry and Raymon have traveled across North America presenting seminars, consulting and working together to raise awareness and help people awaken their own abilities.

Karen Embree
Karen Embree has been a student of shamanic medicine for 15 years. Committed to following her vocation, she left the corporate world. Karen now works full time helping people discover and pursue their own paths of truth and authenticity.
Karen practices Soul Retrieval, spirit world journey work, clearing physical energy blocks, Reiki, emotional release work to clear cellular memory, hands on healing, mind and body programming and dowsing. Karen combines techniques to personalize her services so that each person receives the best she has to offer.
The focus of Karen’s practice is Soul Retrieval. Most people have experienced soul loss due to trauma and illness. Soul loss can also be caused by the stress and pressures of living in a society that does not readily allow people to express who they really are.
“We often find that people push personality and strength away because they do not feel accepted by other people.”
Soul Retrieval is the traditional healing technique used to find the missing pieces of ourselves and bring them back to conscious reality. A person who has soul retrieval typically says they feel stronger and more whole.
Among Karen’s teachers are Raymon Grace, her first dowsing teacher, a long time friend and a wonderful inspiration; Evelyn Rattray, a Tahltan native elder from northern British Columbia; Laureen Rama, a shaman from Edmonton who teaches Soul Retrieval; and Larry Huszczo, an exceptional dowser.
When asked why she chose this path, Karen replies “The path chose me. This is what worked for me, it doesn’t work for everyone. It is a deep level of personal and spiritual transformation and the more a person puts into it, the more they get out of it. That’s a sound investment.”

A Native Approach to Emotional Release
with Evelyn Rattray, a Tahltan Native Elder
8:30 - 9:00 am Registration
9:00 - 4:30 Workshop (bring a lunch or buy on campus)
Learn Evelyn's powerful approach to removing the emotional memory stored at the cellular level and inside the body's energy fields. Emotional memory causes people to struggle through change. Removing the blockages frees a person to follow their conscious choices for changing their lives. Many physical discomforts are relieved with this technique. Evelyn will guide you, step by step, in small groups of (approximately) 4 people. You will work on 3 people and have your own turn on the healing table. The class includes raising the body energy, detecting and removing the blockages and sealing the body and energy fields. You will learn how to guide the person on the healing table through the release process. You will learn to read their body language, engage the person to keep them present, compassionately coach through a tough release and help celebrate their new emotional freedom.
Evelyn Rattray
Evelyn Rattray is a Tahltan elder from Telegraph Creek. Using mostly traditional methods, adding a few non traditional techniques and listening with an open heart and mind to the wisdom of her Spirit Guides, Evelyn has developed her gift into a truly unique and powerful experience for people who seek healing of the mind, body and spirit.
Evelyn has been performing healing work for approximately 40 years. Trained as an energy release practitioner, she travels extensively throughout Canada and the United States offering personal sessions, workshops, seminars and informal talks.
What is Energy Release?
When a person has a traumatic experience, the emotions are felt in the body. The energy of the emotion leaves an imprint or a memory at the physical level, in the body itself. This is also true for trauma where we have no conscious memory of the event.
After the trauma, the memory in the body is always there. The body remembers the feelings and holds the mind and the spirit back in time. This makes it difficult to release and let go of the emotions and memories, no matter how much time has passed and no matter how hard a person is trying to move on.
When faced with an uncertain or unsafe situation, a person will often be filled with the energy of the memory, acting and reacting without thinking, only feeling. Often the reactions don’t even look like they are connected but if we look deep inside the pain, we find ourselves as scared and lonely children. When we struggle against ourselves, trying not to react, trying not to be violent, or yell, or scream, or take a drink, or become depressed, the mind and heart become exhausted, sometimes we give up.
It is possible, through energy release, to heal the memories, the pent-up rage, shame, terror, and pain that is held in those feeling places within us. When the memory is released from the body, it allows a person to tap into their strength and make choices about how to react. It allows a person to choose a new path, not just follow the same path over and over. We can finally leave the past behind.
Evelyn does not work without calling in her Ancestral Spirit Guides and that is where her true power lies. She will call in the Guides most suited to help each person so every session is personalized. A person’s own spiritual beliefs do not have to be the same as Evelyn’s, everyone is honored as having their own path.
Energy release work is gentle and powerful. Through a variety of techniques including massage, smudging, drumming, calling in the Spirits and praying, the body is cleared and balanced. People often leave a session with instructions to give offerings as a way to thank the spirits. People report a number of results including increased mental, physical and emotional health. Energy release work does not seek to replace western medicine but may be especially effective with conditions that do not respond to that type of treatment.
An energy release session does not guarantee the wound will ever be completely healed. It may take more than one session to release the layers of emotional memory we have built over the years. There may always be a tender spot. What an energy release session does is takes power away from the wounds. By bringing the wounds out of the darkness into the Light and releasing the energy, we can heal the wounds so they no longer have the power to dictate how we live. We can heal them enough to change the quality of our lives; to be happy and free.
As people become aware of, and release, stored energies and emotions from their bodies, some say they experience:
Deep states of relaxation
Safe processing of emotions
Greater capacity for self-nurturing and love
Decreased levels of stress/anxiety/depression
Feelings of freedom and lightheartedness
Increased energy levels
Enhanced self esteem
Healing of relationships
Transformation of addictions
The ability to make positive change in their own lives
What to expect
Healing session are done in a supportive and confidential environment. Sessions take place on a massage table (fully clothed) and last for approximately one hour. It is best to allow time to rest afterwards in order to begin integrating the changes. Most people report feeling very relaxed and peaceful after an emotional release session.
